Project Overview
The IMC ER Expansion Project is designed to enhance and expand the emergency department of the International Medical Center in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The project will be executed in two key phases to ensure a seamless transition while maintaining hospital operations.
Phase 1 (Nine Months)
First Floor Construction:
- New drop-off area to improve patient accessibility.
- Expansion of the emergency area to accommodate more patients.
- Development of the CCU-Cath Lab area to enhance critical care services.
- Connecting passageway linking the new construction to the main hospital for improved workflow.
Ground Floor Renovation:
- Additional entrance on the eastern side to provide a direct connection between the main spine (corridor) of outpatient services and the hospital, ensuring smoother patient flow and better accessibility.
Phase 2 (Three Months)
- Renovation of the existing emergency department will begin after the completion and operational start of Phase 1.
- This phase will focus on updating and modernizing the current emergency facilities to align with the newly expanded areas.
